Dr. Ryan
Dr. Ryan Silvera works as a hospitalist, treating patients across 5 hospitals and multiple Specialized Nursing Facilities in the Rio Grande Valley.
He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Biology from The University of California - Davis in 2010, where he was a NCAA Division I wrestler.
He received his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in 2016 and completed his residency in family medicine at The University of Texas - Rio Grande Valley in 2020.
Dr. Silvera is also certified as an American Board of Obesity Medicine (ABOM) diplomate which signifies specialized knowledge in the practice of obesity medicine and distinguishes a physician as having achieved competency in obesity care.
